Encontro 2016 will center around San Francisco Carnaval, which takes place in the Mission District and is the city’s largest multi-cultural event. SF Carnaval celebrates global traditions with music and dancing from Brazil, Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Peru, Mexico, and more. We will participate in two days of outdoor Carnaval festivities, including stage performances and marching in the parade on Sunday morning.
