DONATE FOR ENCONTRO 2016!
Batalá San Francisco needs your support for Encontro 2016, the international gathering of Batalá drummers from all over the world. We are proud to foster community with our music throughout the Bay Area, and we are grateful to the donors who have helped to make our exciting series of performances possible. Help us provide an unforgettable Encontro experience and promote the richness of Bay Area culture by joining these generous donors in supporting Batalá!
For Encontro 2016, we will be joined by Master Giba Goncalves and dozens of drummers from Batalá New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Paris, and many others to parade in Carnaval San Francisco in May 2016. Batalá San Francisco took first place among the Grand Parade Winners in the Brazilian category in 2014.
